The Competitor 12'6 is a very popular, allround raceboard - its a board that works well in both flat and choppy water. For 2011 the construction of the Competitor has been modified with a Pro-Elite Carbon Expoxy build - so it has a Tuflite deck with a carbon hull - making it stiffer so enhances the glide and control of the board in chop.
The Competitor has been very successful in the USA with lots of top results in the many flat water and distance events. Joe Bark is the leading shaper for Prone and Distance boards in the world.
